| Award winning clinical psychologist Dr Cecilia d'Felice has become a regular psychological expert on national TV and Radio. Her mission is to bring psychology to the public in a way that is accessible, engaging and helpful.
Cecilia specialises in all aspects of mental health, emotional wellbeing and relationships, working for the NHS in London at consultant level and speaking at national and international conferences.
Cecilia has fronted Sex: How to Do Everything and Best Friend Rehab for Five. She is also a regular contributor to the Wright Stuff, ITV, GMTV and Channel 4 News, as well as Radio 2 and Radio 4 on subjects such as serious phobias and sublime vampires. She was the resident psychologist on Big Brother on the Couch, where she enjoyed chatting to Davina.
Cecilia regularly comments in the national press, while writing articles and commentary for magazines such as Psychologies, Cosmo and Marie Claire. She won the Mind Journalist of the Year award in 2007. She is also the Dating Doctor for Match.com and DatingDirect.com.
Cecilia's book ‘Dare to be You' (Orion) is a synthesis of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness and Positive Psychology, creating an innovative eight-week self-help programme.
Currently she is acting as expert for an NHS funded programme about quitting smoking, and has just completed contributing to a BBC3 programme which examines the present obsession with vampires. |
