FINDING A THERAPIST IN YOUR AREA
An introduction

 
After reading this website, you might feel that I am not the right therapist for you. If this is the case, don’t worry as there are other options. Firstly, if you would like to see a male therapist, I recommend my colleague Derek Draper, his website can be found here; www.derekdraper.net. Or you might prefer some general advice as to how to go about finding an alternative therapist.

I usually advise that the best approach is to contact the professional governing bodies in the UK, the contact details of which I have included below. This means that you are guaranteed to find someone with proper qualifications and training who has become expert in particular models of psychotherapy.
